Inksters Pop-Up Kiosk a Great Success for Charity Will Campaign

19 September 2011

Iain Listing BarnardosLast week, as Barnardo’s Scottish representatives during the  "Remember A Charity"  event, Inksters were overwhelmed by the success of their Pop-Up Wills Kiosk.

The Pop Up Wills Kiosk was set up inside Barnardo’s Wilson Street Shop in Glasgow and created an approachable and accessible way for members of the public to speak with Inksters’ staff about making or renewing their Will.

The feedback from the public was extremely positive, with many saying they were impressed with the innovative approach to providing legal services. One individual who was delighted to take part in the Barnardo’s scheme said:

“I have been thinking about making a Will for a long  time but have just kept putting it off. I even bought a Will pack from the Post Office but it has just lain in a drawer.  This [Kiosk] is a great idea, it has made [organising my Will] really easy, I will be so glad to finally sort it out.”

Although you  have to be over 55 to be eligible  for  the  Barnardo's Free Will Scheme the Wills Kiosk was so successful in raising the public’s awareness of the importance of writing a Will that many visitors to the Wilson Street Shop who were under 55 wanted to make arrangements with Inksters to have their Wills written.

Furthermore because the Pop-Up Kiosk event was accompanied by a week long Twitter campaign Inksters generated interest from across Scotland, receiving fresh enquires about Will writing directly via the Social Networking Website.

Inksters would like to thank everyone we met and spoke to last week and especially the staff of Barnardo’s Wilson Street shop for their help in contributing to the success of the Scheme. Inksters continue to support the Barnardo’s Free Will Scheme.
